See What Your Suffering Is Actually Made Of

A short interactive experience that walks you through your own situation — not theory, not generic advice.

01

Notice what you are seeing, hearing, and sensing in the moment

02

Map what is happening in your body — its location, its quality, whether it moves or stays still

03

See the thoughts and mental images your mind is generating

04

Separate what is actually present from the story your mind is building on top of it

05

Identify the belief underneath that has been running the pattern

"The moment you can observe anxiety, grief, anger, or dread through its sensations, sounds, thoughts, and images, you are no longer inside it in the same way. The one who notices the experience cannot be the experience itself. That gap — between what you are feeling and what is aware of the feeling — is where suffering loses its grip."

The Illusion of Suffering

The interactive experience gives you a precise look at one situation. What I built afterward goes considerably deeper.

After more than a year of dedicated investigation, I wrote The Illusion of Suffering — a complete, structured method for looking at emotional pain so directly that its structure becomes visible. And once visible, it loses its grip. Applied with honesty and depth, it does not just reduce suffering. It removes it at the root, by revealing what suffering is ultimately built on.

This is the same recognition that ancient spiritual traditions have pointed toward for thousands of years. Expressed here in clear, direct language that requires no faith, no doctrine, and no prior background. Just a willingness to look honestly at your own experience.

About The Author

Aurimas Steponavičius

I grew up in Lithuania during the turbulent years of post-Soviet transition, a childhood shaped by economic uncertainty, collective trauma, and the particular psychological weight of a society rebuilding itself from the ground up. I studied computer science before building a career in technology and media, first in London and later as co-owner of a global media platform that grew to reach billions of people worldwide. At 38, after nearly two decades of relentless ambition, I stepped back from professional life following a burnout that brought everything to a halt. What followed was not recovery in the conventional sense, but a full time investigation into the nature of suffering itself, immersing myself in nonduality teachings while testing every insight against my own direct experience with the same structured, analytical thinking that had defined my professional life. This book is the result of that investigation.
